Cobra Golf will be sold to Puma AG was announced recently by Acushnet Company. The agreement of the sale includes the Cobra brand, related inventory, intellectual property and endorsement contracts. The deal is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.


Acushnet have said that they will be heavily involved to keep the transition seamless. They will help with production, distribution, field sales and customer service. Cobras trade accounts and golfers will be looked after by Acushnet to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

The official transition will be made in second quarter and all business in the meantime will be conducted by Acushnet. The financial terms have not been discussed.
